Though the budget for Fiscal Year 2076-77 has brought the concept of getting the tax clearance through online, it has not been applicable for all the tax payers. Therefore, the taxpayers need to visit the respected tax office for getting the tax clearance documents. Following are the documents which are required for getting the tax clearance certificate from the tax office:
•Application for getting tax clearance in which the details for payment of taxes should be given. The stamp of Rs. 10 should be pasted on it and submit to the respective person in tax office.
•The copy of income tax return which has been filed should also be attached with.
•The copy of all the tax payment vouchers.(It includes the payments of TDS as well)
•The copy of financial statements and audit reports of the tax payers.
•For the employees, details of the income from the employer and tax deducted from the income of the employees.
• Other details as required by the tax officers.
